(art: James Farias)

Hey y'all. So if you haven't noticed, I am a member of a group called The Co-Op, and we're having a special day of music and madness this Saturday. It's meant to be an intimate gathering, a fun and relaxing evening in the park.
The event is entitled Field Trip, and its a rare opportunity to see acoustic sets by bands like:

(listed in no particular order)

Im Turning Into
Senors of Marseille
the Sundelles
Will Stratton
Pow woW!
Superhero Name
Los Basement
Gutsies
plus special guests who we might not even know about!!!!

WHERE: Nellie's Lawn, off of the park's East Drive (see below for map)
WHEN: 4:30 pm-9:30ish pm, Saturday, July 11th

The Co-Op is a collective of young New York artists who organize opportunities for emerging artist and musicians to showcase their work in a professional manner, without the tyranny of the gallery scene. By creating our own venues we are able to circumvent obstacles like unfair commission rates, lack of interest in younger artists, and prejudices against collectors unable to spend millions of dollars. We are devoted to events that are free or inexpensive and open to the community at large.
